I just found out last week that my mortgage has been bought by B of A. That is were I have my checking account. I wanted to change my account so I went online trying to find the best deals on a checking account. I signed up for Regions but then I found better deal at another bank. I hadn't even went in and signed the signature card for Regions and they won't cancel the application. They said it will cost me $50 to cancel. Anyway. When I file I will have that account with a $100 and also a new account at my new bank plus the one at B of A that I am going to close. My question is as long as I have all the documents will this raise red flags?

I agree $50 to cancel is BS!!! I would get "settled" in your new bank, withdraw all but $1, ask them to close the accout, then add "Regions" (never heard of them) to your BK.May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
