    Courts must be bogged sown

Just filled pro se on 9/5 just logged into pacer since I hadn't heard anything on my 341 date, turns out is 10/26, just over a week short of 2 months later. This blows, feels like it setting back my recovery and plans. What happened to 30-45 days?
    Filed Ch 7 Pro Se - 9/5/2009
    341 - 10/26/09
    Discharge - 12/30/09
    Closed - 1/4/10

I was looking at my local BK 341 meeting schedules. The UST has about 5-6 scheduled per half hour. I have no idea if that's even normal, but it sounds like about one is done every 5 minutes or so?

And yeah, mine was scheduled 1 month and 1 week out.

I am in Indiana too, we had our 341 on July 22nd, due to be discharged around Sept 18. I don't see that happening only because we have had no postings on Pacer since our 341 no distribution by the trustee, still waiting on our ONA (order of no assets), which should have been around the 30 day mark after our 341. So I figure they are back logged and we will be waiting longer. I was so looking forward to the discharge and close being over soon. Not sure what district you're in, but we are in the southern district.

OTOH, that's good though. It means you are far less likely to get grilled by the trustee.

I recall mine many years ago. It basically lasted five minutes. He set up a tape recorder and asked me some basic questions. Then said it sounded like a no asset case, shook my hand and wished me luck. I went in Pro Se and was a little nervous. Funny thing was there was a rather large protest going on outside the courthouse over the Iraq war then. I remember it well.
