Since we filed and had our 341 meeting, our stock value has increased. Will the trustee go after the new increased value or the value since we filed? Is it advisable to sell some of the stocks while still in BK case. We have 3 more weeks to be discharged, but the case will be open as it has been changed to asset and creditors have already filed claim.

As the trustee will know- there has been a lot of market flucation. They will not go check your stock ticker on the NYSE. DO NOT SELL. That will trigger a reaction if they find out.Filed Pro Se: 10/16/2009

HHM posted "The value of the home is set at the time the case is filed. So even if prices are increasing (really, could they have possibly gone up, in this market, such that you are on bubble), there is nothing he can do about it."
A stocks value is much easier to ascertain at a point in time than a houses value. If they can't revisit the home value, it stands to reason the stock would be safe as well.No Asset 7 closed 11/09
