Got a letter from Trustee today. He is requesting payoff statements for vehicles and mortgages. Would I contact the creditors for this information? Or, if I log online to my creditors, can I print off the page that states "payoff balance"?

Its not likely that you will be able to access your accounts after you have filed Ch 7. Most of the time the account access is restricted from the filing date forward.
You can contact the BK dept of each creditor and they will fax or email you a payoff. Some may prefer to use snail mail. Do you have an attorney? They may send it to your attorney - that's something to clarify with them directly during your phone call.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

Okay, So I called my Credit Union today to request payoff statements for my 2nd mortgage loan and my two vehicle loans for them (total of 3 loans). She informed me that they generally do not send seperate payoff statements, that the payoff amount is included in the Reaffirmation agreements that are received. Would this be sufficient for the Trustee or is he wanting an actual "payoff statement"? Should I call Trustee's office and ask them if this is sufficient?370K Secured Debt / 53K Unsecured Debt
