    My first time on Pacer--what does this mean?

    Hi all--

    I just went on to pacer and looking at the "Parties" section I find our names, lawyer's name, trustee name UST contact info and American Express Bank--represented by a Lawyer/dc. What is Am Ex doing there:--is this something to be concerned about? Or, is it a situation where Am ex just wants to be informed of all case related events? We filed Aug 18 and 341 is not until Oct.

    Just means that they filed a Notice of Appearance (and Request for Notice). Otherwise, the Clerk Keys off the Creditors Matrix for notices.

    So, you have guessed correctly; they just want to be informed of any thing that goes on with the case.
