Lord, I WISH I could call the previous owners of my truck - I'd ask them WTH they did with the jack and the 2nd set of keys.

Uncle Fester borrowed the darn jack to fix his tractor but never gave it back.

Them keys is in the spare key drawer.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

Like others said, he may just want the vehicle's history. I don't see any harm in talking to the man if he lives that far away. It's only a phone call. What's the big deal? If you don't like what he has to say, hang up and never speak to him again.

I think it's rude when people don't return my call. I get mad at my own friends and curse them out for not returning my calls. They laugh at me, but I tell them to knock it off and return my calls. I'm not a bill collector and didn't do anything to deserve that.

My advice (which many people here never seem to like) is to return the call and see what he wants. Plus we're all curious here to what he has to say. If you don't want to talk to him, give me his number and I will call him and see what he wants and I will post on here what he tells me.

Returning a call is optional. I doubt I'd return your call if I thought you might be planning to curse me.

They didn't know I was going to curse them. So I send them text messages to their phones telling them to stop not calling me. I tell them, "If I can't get hold of you, how the hell do your customers get hold of you?!!?"
