I told my manager about my BK filing tomorrow. Reason is I live in a small town and he would have probably found out anyway. I am a traveling sales rep and we typically expense our travel and are reimbursed by the company. I wanted to give him a heads up considering I will be living on cash for awhile.
Funny part about me telling him is he has fallen on hard times as well and looking into the possibility of BK. Telling him and finding that out took a huge burden off my chest. I bet most people will be amazed to know the people closed to them that are in the same situation, but are trying to keep it hush-hush.
Anyway, going to sign my petitions at lunch tomorrow and get this show on the road. If all goes well my 'Fresh Start" will begin in approximately 90 days or so.
