Once into the BK section in your state and district, you need to go to query, you will be able to put in your case # once you hit query. Then you can look and see what is says about your case. I think Pacer is the same for each state, if not then maybe someone from your state will be able to help you more. It can be a little confusing in the beginning, but once you are able to locate your district for your state, then hit query, it's pretty simple. I check history most of the time, just to see if anything like an objection is going on. The first time on I did however go thru each thing listed, just to make sure I didn't see any mistakes.

this might help. go to pacer. DONT sign in. click on the " links to PACER websites" tab. you should be at the pacer web links page. scroll down past the appeals and district courts to the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts and find your state/district court. click on your court which directs you to your local U.S. Bankruptcy Court. click the "Document Filing System" link. now log in at this page(dont worry about client code, leave blank). you should now be in your local system. click the "Query" link and you can search by case number or ss# and you should see this list of links to retreive info from...

      Alias
      Associated Cases
      Attorney
      Case File Location
      Case Summary
      Creditor
      Deadline/Schedule
      Docket Report ...
      Filers
      History/Documents
      Notice of Bankruptcy Case Filing
      Party
      Related Transactions
      Status

        mistakes

and like justplaintired mentioned, i too went through every link and did find a mistake on my creditor list, a typo on the acct number. i was able to file and amendment, but if i didnt review everything on Pacer, i might have had trouble down the road. so review closely (and no, i dont have any financial interest in the billing of pages on Pacer )
