Quick question. I think I know the answer, but I am not sure
We have a leased car, not reaffirming. Plan is to hopefully get a cheaper used car after discharge. The car company sent us the request to reaffirm. Lawyer said don't do it, they are bluffing. We still have been paying on it in case it takes us months to get another car to replace it.
Since we are battling the UST and our discharge is extended, does the car company still need to get a motion to lift the stay for a lease. On the reaffirmation agreement it says the can come after 45 days to get the car. I am assuming they mean the 45 days after my 341 - if we would have been discharged at that time.
Thanks!
