thanks. We do plan on seeking an attorneys help if we're not able to come to an agreeable settlement amount. I just found out yesterday that the neck pain I am having is more then just a strain (and I will likely never be 100% again), so it's possible we're going to need an accident attorney to handle our claim for us.

You need to contact your bk attorney and find out if some or all of a personal injury award is exempt in your state.
