Can a mortgage company be granted the lift of the automatic stay?

I'm just totally curious.. We surrendered house in our chapter 7 and vacated, moved out of state. Awaiting discharge, but getting docs in the mail about our mortgage requesting the automatic stay to be lifted so they can proceed with foreclosure. Can they get that lifted? We live in AZ.. My curiousity is how long before they can enter the house.....

Yes they can and must get it lifted before they can foreclose. How quickly they take the house will depend on how soon they can get the stay lifted.
