    341 soon...

Ok, well it's my turn now. I tried not to freak out but here goes.

Filed Ch. 7 and have 341 in a few weeks. All has been quiet and FANTASTIC since we filed. We are a couple hundred/month under median and things are looking up. We can buy groceries, change the oil in the car without a meltdown....

Between our schedules we have about $70 left over in 'disposable'. Of course, I've started the 'what if' game and I'm freaking out a bit about being pushed into a 13. Especially because I have a really good job with regular income. That's my only real asset is my wages...

Bottom line, anyone know of under median people being pushed into a 13? Our lawyer says not to worry, but I'm a little freaked out. I just want our fresh start. I think my new wife and I deserve it.
Filed Chapter 7 08/06/09, unsecured debt of $109,000
    341 Meeting 09/09/09
    Discharged 11/12/09
    Closed 12/14/09

we are under median income and had around $150 left in disposable income according to our schedules (they were incorrect though because it left off our student loans $570). It was never even mentioned at our 341. My guess is they are probably pretty cool about it if you are under area median income.
Filed 7/2. 341 on 8/14, it went well. I'm in the 60 day club. Last day for objections 10/13/09.

Thanks Jefferson24. That's what our atty seems to think, and he should know. I appreciate the insight though.

Did you get your new wife through the Cash for Old Wives program?
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

You should be fine. From what I've seen and read disposable income usually isn't a probably unless you have more than $100 a month leftover.
4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
          7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!

Ha ha. Funny.....no, long sob story, but basically one of our biggest reasons for filing was we both went through long, horrible divorces/custody battles, racking up thousands upon thousands of dollars in legal fees which were all paid by credit card. Fought for years to try and pay them off, but just came to realize we were getting nowhere.....

I appreciate the feedback. This place is great. I just have to try to keep from getting too OCD. That's why I refuse to join PACER. I'd be a huge OCD junkie....
