    Parent Plus Loan Question

I'm a little curious about the Parent Plus Loan and it's disbursements for my son. If the loan is in my name (2 disbursements 5,000 in September and 5,000 in January) but the money is for my son's tuition and supplies he needs and there is a refund for him to place into his bank account how will this impact me when I file? I'm shooting for December but still haven't picked out an attorney as of yet. Please anyone have knowledge of how this will be figured in?

This year's disbursement should be fine since you already applied for the PLUS loan, but Parent Plus loans, unlike stafford loans, do a credit check, and if you file bankruptcy and do not have a co-signer, you will not be able to get a new PLUS loan next year.

Stafford loans do not do a credit check.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

I can understand not being able to get the plus loan next year but what about something called an appeals process I thought I read somewhere. Yes? No?
