how long before they take our motorcycle?

We have a motorcycle that was purchased on a kawasaki cc and have not made a payment on it for 11 months. Is it normal for them to take this long to come get it? Should i call them and ask them to come get it since we are filing chpt 7 we have no intentions of keeping it , because of late pymts etc. we owe about 5 grand more than what it is worth. Also i have a dodge caravan that is up to date with payments but also owe much more than current value, has anyone done the 722redemption? and if so how did that work ? any responses are appreciated! thank you!

how soon are you filing? I'd let the trustee handle it, personally...

we dont have a set petition signing date yet , still waiting for the lawyer to call us to tell us when to come in, fees are all paid and paperwork is all in
