    Question on surrendering car

We had to make the decision to surrender our one and only car due to the high payment and cost of running the car. My FIL said he could loan us one of his cars to get us thru until we can get approved for a new loan. I told my attorney this and she says she needs the name/address of the person who is loaning us a car, why does she need this?

She is just covering her bases. If you are not having your name put on the title of the car, then you don't own it, and it is not part of your bankruptcy.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

The Attorney just needs to be able to show it is not yours, and whose it is.
