    Alaskan PFD

Chapter 7... Ok so they can get 80% of it, but is this just a one time thing or every year?

    Thanks

Are you asking that if you file Ch7, would you surrender the PFD this one time or for several years thereafter?

I would think that just as you might have to hand over an income tax rebate check, you might have to hand this over. But once you are Discharged, then the PFD, if you get it every year, is yours to keep and do with as you wish.

Someone more knowledgeable then me, please chime in.

Thanks Angel, yes ...that's what I'm seeing too, but wanted confirmation.
The Prudent Man theory doesn't always work especially in legal areas.
