Schedule J line 16 expense question

I have a question about schedule J...trying to pad my expenses with actual expenses! I am self employed...a contract writer and I got through a TON of printer ink...at least 1 per month at 50 bucks a shot! anyway...line 16 says...regular expenses from operation of business, profession or farm (attach detailed statment)...would 50-75 per month for printer ink and postage be out of the question here?

If it is true and you can prove it... Then it is not out of line. Although if you have the same trustee as in your other post. She may ask why you are not refilling them yourself or at one of the other places that refill ink carts.

I don't think they make refillable ink for my HP Photosmart C6180 All-in-One Printer. Mine takes 5 different colors of ink and a separate one for Blank Ink.

I think we pay around $50 a month on ink and don't have a business. I print out all cards for my family and my husband's family using Hallmark Software. Cards are expensive these days unless you buy the cheapies which don't say much LOL!

If you have supporting documents, I think your Trustee would have to go by the supporting documents, even if she is Mean LOL!

$50 a month for ink, if you are printing a lot of contracts is within reason. I would make the expense for general office supplies though, add in the paper, paper clips, staples, pens, etc too. Then it is not just $50 for ink, it is $50 for office supplies.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under
