goincrzy..thank you...it is embarassing to have to defend wanting to take your kids to the movies or the pool...I'm an adult and I understand saving money and staying home..but I have three kids that have been bouncing off the walls all summer long...doing nothing! Things are very expensive now and with five of us...it's very difficult to manage......I do take blame in this....I should have read through the scheduls better, but I trusted that my attorney would not have done anything that would have raised the tts attention..and instead she duplicated expenses...what a moron..anyway, hopefully it will all work out..the UST is not involved yet..the tt said she was going to refer it to them...but on Pacer it shows that we are still awaiting our first meeting...does not mention the UST..so maybe she is waiting until we redo our schedules?? That is what I'm hoping for!

You shouldn't have to defend taking care of your kids. I just think you should take some of that entertainment and hobby money and leave it off your schedules and put more legitimate utilities and heath care and office expenses on there that you were leaving off. Certain categories of expenses will trigger the trustee more than other categories.

I am very sorry you are having such a stressful time. I think redone schedules will fix the problem you are having with the trustee.
You can't take a picture of this. It's already gone. ~~Nate, Six Feet Under

Hang in there. Sounds brutal. If you're like me you beat yourself up enough over this whole thing, and then you have these other lawyers/accountants kicking you when you're down. Remember, can't squeeze blood from a turnip (as my wife always says). But still......causes anxiety!!
Filed Chapter 7 08/06/09, unsecured debt of $109,000

        Discharged 11/12/09

          Good Advice!

berrymom35, yes your Attorney messed up. But hindsight is 20/20. Concentrate on the expenses backtoschool listed in your other Thread & separate your business cell phone expenses from the other cell phones.

In regards to Taxes: you should have a real estate tax bill you paid this past year, a personal property tax bill (if your State has this tax..AR does) As for your self-employment taxes make a copy of the Schedule SE from last year's return would be documented proof of such.

Make a spreadsheet listing your utilities each month by category(ie. electric, gas, telephone, etc). Then show the total divided by 12. I also made a monthly overview by date of food, personal care products, household items & a misc. column & attached my receipts to the spreadsheet. If you don't have all the receipts, use your bank statements.

The more paperwork you give them the Better! Hang in there!

          Hugs,
          Luci
