How do judgements affect C7?

WMy daughter and I each filed Chapt 7's ourselves and we both had "certificate of judgment's" filed against us in the Probate Court. (Hers for a credit card and mine, well actually my husbands, for damages to another persons vehicle caused by an accident while we didn't have car insurance.)

Annie: I have good and bad news. The cc judgment against the daughter should be able to be discharged and/ or vacated by the BK. Your husband's accident while driving w/o insurance--especially if he was at fault--may survive the BK.

If your husband was not at fault, there may be some 'wriggle room' there. But you need to discuss this with a BK attorney. Driving w/o insurance--even if you weren't aware you did not have it wll not work in your favor.
