Ok, this may be a stupid question but here goes. I had my 341 meeting on 7/21/09 with no problems. I have yet to sign up for PACER as I really don't want to spend the money on it. I did, however, found the toll free number that you can call to get the status of your BK. Is there any reason why the system would say "awaiting closing" when I am still within the 60 days? Shouldn't it say "awaiting discharge"?

Even PACER is not always correct. I know nothing of the phone but PACER is not a bad deal at .08 cents a page. You can save your documents to your hard drive for look back. that status, under both pacer and the phone system (the phone system reads it off pacer, i think), is more often wrong than not. it's the docket sheet that gives the accurate info.filed ch7 May 09

Yep this is commonly displayed on files that are still awaiting discharge.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
