Student Loan Disbursment Questions

i don't see any mention of something saying that it is not included as income nor that it would be exempted from assets in BK.. That was what i was questioning.

The OP question was on a disbursement post petition. Sorry, I thought that is what you were talking about too. If all of the loans have been disbursed pre-petition then and are money sitting in your bank account, then I have no idea what would happen. I was talking about post petition loan disbursements.

I know that my lawyer said that federal student loans are not considered income, but that is not what my posts were addressing.
