If somebody would hire me to work for them (which you and I both know that won't happen), then I would be employed.
If lots of my posts are considered unorthadox or aggravate most people, can you imagine how on earth I'd be compatible to work for somebody else with my mindset? It simply won't work. I will butt heads with every single person above me as I don't take well to authority and never will. I will have to be unemployed until I die. I guess I'll have to keep joining under various MLM's my whole life to stay afloat.
Just imagine if I tried to join the military. They would throw me out with a dishonorable discharge so fast your head would spin... or I'd get a fat court martial from telling a superior officer to get bent.
At one of the companies I worked at, after I quit, I killed a multi-million dollar merger just from ONE SINGLE SOLITARY email I wrote to the owner of the company after I quit. I don't have any good references to speak of. I don't think I could even get a job at Burger King if my life depended on it.
The CEO of the company that was going to get bought out for millions sought me out. He was so royally pissed off at what I did that he found the lawyers that Wayne Huizinga uses (you know who he is, the guy who owns Blockbuster Video) to come after me and make sure I stayed unemployed after I left never able to work in the State of Florida ever again.
He said, and I quote, "If anyone calls here asking for a reference from _______ _________, we will burn him into the ground."
So I am much better off keeping a low profile and just stay unemployed. That's the way that CEO likes it. I think if he ever saw me again, he'd probably pop a vein in his forehead from being so mad.
The turnover from that company was so awful. I'm glad I left. 100% of the people in I.T. in that company quit 3 months after I did. I was the one who wrote all of their software. The vice president of the company got reamed out by the CEO so badly that he ended up having a heart attack and was in the hospital for 2 weeks.
The CEO was such an evil man that nobody would stay working for him. Years later we bumped into somebody at an ATM who recognized us wearing one of the company shirts. They told me that the company has a new thing called the "Golden Handcuffs". What he does now to keep people is this new trick. He tells the new employee, "You can leave any car you want at whatever payments you want. As long as you stay working with the company, we'll keep making the payments for you. The day you quit, we will stop." There would be people leasing Hummer H2's, Corvettes, Porsche's, you name it. They could never quit since the lease payments were so high that it would kill them to keep making $800-1500/mo. payments on a new car. It would be hard to keep those payments up even at a new job. Plus he paid more than most companies, so you'd have take a pay cut to leave. Some people hated him so much, they didn't care about taking a pay cut to work some place else.
