After I finally bankruptcy and when my lease is up, will I still be able to continue leasing my car. Or can I even obtain an buy out loan?

I believe that all depends on the credit score you emerge out of BK with, and the length of time since you were discharged.

I hope to buy out my leased car, but will not know for 2 years when the lease is completed. Hopefully by then, I can repair some of the damage to my credit with the BK filing and discharge.

As credit has always been, it just depends on the many, many variables involved.

I have read on other boards where ppl were just mailed the paperwork at the end of their lease to do the buy...with no questions asked. We had planned on doing that with a Chrysler lease we had with one yr left but in the end we realized that the payment was too high so we surrendered it and bought something with a more affordable payment before filing for BK.

I was able to re-lease my car after bankruptcy and when it was finally over and I didn't want to re-lease again or buy it, my brother bought it from the leasing company.
