FYI- 39 days from filing to 341 in Fl So Dist

I filed today and in the Southern District of Florida and the 341's are 39 days from the day you file. I was really thinking that they would be farther away based on how busy they have been.

Here in the WPB Trustee's office they have been "importing" Trustees from Broward county for the overload! Maybe it is helping...

    Discharged Jan 5, 2009! Closed Jan 18, 2009

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

ahhh, that is where I am. I didn't know they were using Broward trustees. I guess it is helping. Do you know how many wpb usually has and how many are being brought up?

I don't know how many they have brought here - just that various friends that have filed have had Broward Trustee's here in the WPB district. I checked with my attorney's office (at the time) and they said they were bringing in the Broward Trustees to help with the overload. I wonder what Broward is doing??? LOL.

My, my, that area is high rent area. I see mega buck boats in back of most yards, yet I guess even big buck folks are getting squeezed as well. Lack of purchase power has a trickle up effect, I guess. 'Hub

the wpb office also covers a place called port st lucie . It was not to long ago the fastest growing area in the country. Now it has one of the highest foreclosure rates. You can buy a house there for $60,000 that once cost $260,000. More likely than big buck boats in the backyard is a blue roof, left over from the 3 recent hurricanes, Frances, Jeanne and Wilma
oh and unemployment rate about 12%
                nice place

It must vary greatly from case to case... We filed 4/8, didn't have 341 until 5/29, so well over 30 days, but our discharge and closing was filed on pacer by day 67 after 341
                    Filing Date - 4/8/09
                    341 Meeting - 5/29/09
                    Discharged! - 8/6/09
