Ty. (That's "thank you") See? I'm catching on!
Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

DM is "Dear Mistress", but few of us in bankruptcy can afford one of those so we rarely use that acronym here.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

DH is internet shorthand for "dear husband" or "dearest husband". Of course, your wife can make it mean whatever fits her purpose

Rainmom: You betcha Bank of America is included in our Bankruptcy. They were the first one of our CCs' to raise the min. balance and increase the rates.

I was laying in bed last night doing some remininscing and remembered when I called our Mortgage Company end of 10/07 to inquire about buying a home closer to my doctors and family. My credit score was so high, I was approved immediately for a $250,000 home.

Of course, I knew we couldn't afford payments on that large of a mortgage. We made a contigent offer on a $120,000 home which meet our needs. Has a large greatroom with fireplace, large kitchen and dining room, 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Fully privacy fence yard on .67 acres. Of course, 2-3 weeks later, they received a full offer and we had 72 hrs. to decide if we wanted to remove the contigency. The home was was underpriced for the neighborhood, so we removed the contigency.

We did not have to send anything to the mortgage company. No W-2s', tax returns..nothing! All we had to do was show up at the title company to sign the zillions of paperwork, got the keys & moved in 15 days. Didn't sell our other home until 3 mths later. Worked out to where we only had to make one month's worth of 2 house payments.

My point is our financial situation really didn't change that much from 10/07 to 9/08 except for me having 3 surgeries. It just goes to show you the previous 15-20 years people were encouraged to go out and buy large homes with high monthly mortgage payments. Same thing with Credit Cards. I know every day in the mail, we would receive about 3 - 4 checks from our Credit Card Companies encouraging us to use those checks. I can remember getting frustrated at receiving them, because I would have to spend the time to shred them.

I guess I'm 'anal' when it comes to our personal information as I shred anything that associates our name with any financial info (if I don't file it LOL). As Dh (dear husband) and I are required to takes lots of prescription medicines, when bottle is empty, I try to peel the label off the vial. Most of the time, I'm unsuccessful and have a black permanent marker I use to cover up all of our info.

I've read thread where people on this forum wonder how collectors find out about their relatives and start hounding them. I'm just thankful, I've used my sister as my nearest relative on everything for the past 35 something years. They've been unable to locate her as he husband died and she has remarried and lives in a different town. Technology has gone so far, our rights to privacy doesn't exist and it's wrong!

          Hugs,

          Luci

RainMom: Our breakfast was wonderful. I cannot even recall the last time I went out to a restaurant for breakfast. It was good to get out of the house for the 1st time in 3 weeks.

O on the reaffirmation of your vehicle? We don't have a plan B either LOL1 Even if we stopped making the payment's on Dh's truck, we wouldn't have enough saved to buy him another vehicle and it is 40 miles to his work. With my disability, I never know when I wake up in the morning, if I'm even going to be able to walk, much less drive him the 40 miles to work and back home. Plus, you take the chance of cancelling the ins. on the vehicle you turn in & not being able to get insured with a BK on your credit report.

341 hearing? Sweetie, we haven't even filed yet. We want to be under the State Median, even though are expenses are astronomical!, and that will happen using Mar-Aug income. It's a good thing we didn't file in 1/09 because of hubby's one week hospital stay and off most of the month of April. Our BK attorney (small city..we live in small town about 18 miles from the city) files all BKs on the last working day of the month..so he will file ours on 9/30/09.

I've got to go back and adjust the $ amounts on the CCs & add all the medical bills from Dh. I just found out my twin sister has breast cancer and she is using My Onocologist. They found her's in a Cat Scan of her lungs..same way with me in Feb. Sis had a mammo in April & everything was fine. That's how fast cancer can start! It runs rampant on our mother's side of the family.

I'm scheduled for my 6 mth mammo this Thurs. & I've found a lump.
Our Onocologist is on vacation this week, but she called my sister from the airport last Thurs. night after she had done the biopsy that morning and told her it came back cancer. I have an appt. with on Tues. Told my sis, if her appt. was later in the week, I would switch. So, depending on my outcome whether we go ahead and file in August. I'll be danged if I'm filing BK and going to need my 8th surgery.

Keep those happy thoughts for a bit, will ya

                Hugs,

                Luci

Thanks Music for your kind words. I've done some research and I have a 60% chance of having breast cancer due to my twin sister, my mother and her sister having it.

O Ya'll are so Sweet. I didn't think anybody would want to know how my day went yesterday. Thanks for letting me know you Care!

I got the Royal Treatment LOL! Not only a Mammogram but an Ultrasound too! LOL! The radiologist came in and said he thought everything looked good, but I have lot's of density (due to having Fibrocystic Disease).

I go see my Onocologist this Tuesday at 1:40 pm and my Twin Sis & her husband meets with her a5 4:00 pm the same day to discuss with her the 'game plan' for her Cancer. It's scary s sis had a Mammo in April and everything was okay. The tumor was found in a CT Scan of her lungs.

I feel confident I'm okay, but going to ask Onocologist about that BRCA gene test as I have a Cancer policy and I think it will pay for it. I've have a Son, where Sis has never had any children, but raised 3 of her late husbands. I think not having a child comes into play somewhere in the odds of breast or cervical cancer. Got lots more research to do.

I came home and slept for 5 hours. Today's a new day and it's Friday. Hopefully, hubby will be home late tonite. Last time I talked to him he was going through Jackson, MS over to West Monroe, LA to deliver. Hope dispatch has a load close for him to pick up.

Again, thank you so much for asking about me.

                              Hugs,

                              Luci
