Take that money to pay your Attorney or whatever...Just don't pay the Credit Card Cos. We haven't paid since late last September when we met with our BK Attorney. Our target date is filing 9/30/09 using Mar-Aug Gross Income.
I don't have a problem with that. All the debt is from cards. Nothing secured whatsoever. I just wanted to make sure I don't take any actions that could de-rail my bankruptcy. Maybe I should go through 3 months' statements for all the cards and see what should be scrapped first...

I had a medical procedure that required me to have over 5K in medications and a final bill from the hospital that the insurance didn't cover that totalled 1900.00.
I listed this in my BK7 and my lawyer said it was dischargeable. This was the end of April and I filed on the 28th of June.
I imagine that hospital can now refuse me in the future?

        AP are "expensive"?

Did some more reading on the site and googling around... quite a few points made that AP's (objections to discharge) can cost a creditor $5,000 on the low end... is the rumor true? If so, I don't see even a remote possibility of a creditor objecting unless they are going for more than $5000, even if they oppose to the charge.

        Thoughts?

Yes, AP's are expensive and a cumbersome process. They would really have to want what you got to go through with one...

Don't worry... and may the schwartz be with you! (Sorry your name reminded me of Pizza The Hut).

they probably wouldn't object unless they could get much more than $5000 - otherwise, what would be the point? they would just use the money to pay off their lawyers.

Worst case scenario the CC would want a payment plan on that debt. Not to worry.
