    How Many Letters?

I received my discharge (and letter) from BK7 a month ago..... I went to look at some cars today and when i asked about financing i explained my situation and they were understanding and felt that they could get me in a new car. They asked for my letter stating that my BK was over....
What they told me is that my discharge letter was not what they were looking for... was told i should be gettign another letter when my BK is over?

Is that right.... is it not done?

Not sure. Maybe they are wanting to see if your case is discharged AND closed. We are discharged but not closed yet.

Yes, I think they are wanting what acers67 just said. I spoke with a couple dealers locally as well and they stated exactly what that dealer just told you ( I guess there is hope for a vehicle after discharge/close )

Closed means nothing. It is a 'mop up' of paperwork and other things. They are giving you a runaround, and give them the discharge document and nothing else. I believe they are too late to enter an Adversary Procedure against you now. Ignore this until it is clarified. 'Hub
