Should the balances that I owed prior to being discharged still be shown on my credit reports, or should they all display as $0.00 and just included in bankruptcy? I have begun the process of cleaning up my account, and all of the necessary accounts are being shows as "Chapter 7", but all of the balances are also showing. Should I submit disputes to get the balances removed, or do the creditors have the right to declare how much money I left unpaid? Thanks for any and all advice.
