We paid our retanier and were ready to go, but my hubby had a bad day at work. We was sweating like crazy, his shoulder hurt, and his body temp was 96.5. He left work and by the time I got home he looked really grey/white and his pulse was 95. But his B/P was fine. He refused to go to the doctor. So a few days later still feels horrible so he calls trying to find a doctors, after telling them his pulse is 95 and is irregualer in beat he calls 6 MDs and 3 specialist who tell him they can see him in late Sept or Oct... Finally the last one says he needs to go to urgent care. He goes in and they give him an inhaler for COPD and pillsto lower his heart rate .. I think he might have had a mild heart attack and not wonder with the stress of losing his job and working at one that pays nothing now. Anyhow the Attorney tells him to wait until he goes to the doctor to make up his mind about a BK. He goes in a couple days and I am sure that will lead to tests taht will take forever. My concern is we did not make our june payment on our house and in MO they can take it in 90 days. Do I try to make a July payment or what? We had hoped to sit tight for a while to save up the money for the attorney and for the rent and deposit on where ever we end up.. geesh.. if it were not for bad luck.. We can not file until we have him in treatment that is for sure... but who knows how long that will take. You know I hate wall street today.. lol

Do you have enough to make the payment? If not don't worry about it.
90 days is fast, how long til they actually evict you?
I would agree that your lawyer has told you the right thing, wait til after treatment after all you might need to bankrupt on them.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

We could spend the cash we are saving to file with the attorney, but that would hurt us. We need advice, and filing is the only way to get it. In Southern MO, Springfield area, I am not sure how loan it will take BOA to kick us out. We missed June, and July looks bad since we pooled our cash from income and from selling old stuff at a garage sale for the filing with the attorney. Maybe Thursday will have better news... but I would hate to have to move so soon because I am not sure we will have enough to rent a place.. so then what? Geesh.. what a mess....

If you plan on keeping the house then call your mortgage lender and tell them your dh is sick. Don't tell them your thinking about BK. They may be able to work something out with you.
I hope he feels better soon!!4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!

There are plenty of strategies to delay the foreclosure process. In most markets you should be able to get at least 12 months of rent-free time in the home.
Check out the foreclosure category on bkforums. Tons of great info.Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick
