What if things have changed between paper work and filing?

We filled out all the paper work for the lawyer in May, we are signing and filing on 8/6. We were suppose to file last Thursday the 16th but had to reschedule for the 6th.
A lot of things have changed since May. We have decided to surrender our home so that was about $1400 per month on our esxpenses, $910.00 mortgage and $500 a month in maitenance for at least the next 24-36 months(we had documentation to prove these repairs were needed and the estimated costs). We surrendered one of our vehicles saving $481 payment and $60 insurance. Our children got into a new school so we have new fees for uniforms ext. There are other little things too.
We obviously will have costs that replace the mortgage, rent will be about $1300 and our local standards are listed as 1900 for rent and utilities so that should be about right.
Should we call the lawyer and see about redoing the paper work? They know we decided to let the house and van go but never suggested we redo the paper work. Our original paper work stated that we wanted to surrended the van and reaffirm the house they said they would just take care of changing the house stuff on the day we come in. We are below the median if that makes a difference only by like 50.00 for the 6 months but below(we may be below by more depending on if they let us claim my FIL who lives with us and does not contribute to the household financially he would bump our family size to 6).
    TIA

Even though you are below the median once you make all those changes do you have income leftover on your I and J? You may want to call and discuss it with your lawyer.

5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next

I don't think so dh's take home is only about $3800 a month even though he makes close to 80K(we are getting raked for health insurance $1356(wow I hasdn't done the math until now) out of his check each month and then we have $260 out of pocket each month for monthly prescriptions with three kids there are often other medical/dental cost too, nothing is covered until we reach our 4k deductable)

We can change our coverage at the begining of 2010. We really didn't expect to have a child dx'd with an autoimmune disorder, when we selected our current plan. That and I had a bad infection in Feb. that really killed the FSA we had set aside, I am young and have been really healthy for my whole life so I just wasn't expecting the cost of a Pyelonephritis(stupid to not expect things to come up, I know).

I am just curious if we should be filling the papers out again?

How do we include what we will pay in rent, since we aren't sure of the exact amount should I just use the $1893 local standard for 5 or more? We just have so many changes going on and I don't want to misjudge what a cost is going to be and have us end up lying by accident.

Personally, I'd insist on a correct petition being filed.

you won't have to redo all the paperwork, only the things that have changed. it appears that your lawyer believes he/she can get that done when you come in on the 6th. you just might have a longer-than-expected meeting, that's all.

my case was simple, but i was still amazed that i was in and out of my lawyer's office in about half an hour, and that was that.

Yes go over it, I made the mistake of not looking ours over close enough and we had waited awhile to file. The only thing that I saw that had changed was I had a small part time job that had ended. I had to inform the trustee that was different. She accepted my correction, but I do wish I had caught it sooner. That was the one mistake I saw.

So if possible make those changes. I know it's a pain, but you don't have to completely redue everything, just those things that have changed.
