How often do you go on Pacer?

I started looking daily once the UST filed his motion. After he withdrew it I quit looking. Now I'm on day 63 and I must admit I usually check it twice a day.

I'm not the only one who does this right? I'm just so excited for my discharge to come.
4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
    7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!

I also go at least twice a day. I just check the "date of last filing" so I don't have to pay anything.

However, I did a query on the trustee this morning and was charged 30 dollars. I didn't even click on anything, just ran the query. Pacer has never charged me for a query before, and usually notifies me if I'm going to click on something that costs more than a couple of dollars.

I'm feeling a little freaked out to use pacer now.

At first about 2 times a week.
Later just once a week until I was past what I thought should be discharge date, and then it was daily hoping.

I think there is a phone number on the site if you have questions about what happened.
And if you know for sure that you were charged $30 it sounds like they warned you before you downloaded information?

Nope. No warning. It just stated the charge at the bottom of the query page. If I had been warned, do you think I would have done it? I just ran a query like I have always done.

Interesting. I have seen the warning that if you download the pages what the charges will be but nothing like you are noting here.

I've seen that warning before, too. In this case I didn't download anything, though, just ran a query. My online account says it was a 392 page query. I'll be disputing it, but my understanding from the website is that I have to wait until the quarterly billing and do it in writing. I do not believe there is a phone number to call.

Moral of the story is - be very very careful on pacer, even if you are just running a query.

Is it likely to have anything besides the usual petition filing things on PACER before your 341?

I've checked a few times and nothing has changed.

I've been obsessively checking Pacer several times a day. Just got through checking it right now (for the 3rd time today) and yippee....finally discharged! Now just waiting for closure, so I imagine I'll still obsessively keep checking until I see that!

                          Congrats!

I look a couple times a day, just to see if anything has changed on our case. My problem is also I began looking for people I know, now that is a curiosity thing and I need to stop. It's kind of strange seeing how many I know who did file. Anyway, so far no warning so I must be ok on my charge.

This is what I do as well. I've been checking once a day, after 6-7pm-ish. I figured they would have every thing entered for the day by that time
