    Question about the look back

My wife lost her job last week so looking back six months our financial situation was radically different then what we actually have coming in right now. She will begin to get unemployment next week, but how is this handled?

Does the court take into consideration that we have a lot less money right now despite what the look back period reflects?

    Thanks!

No, the lookback period is what the bk code requires.
This is where timing and preplanning your bk is important .

Exactly, that's why I'm in the middle of a UST inquiry. I lost wage due to a company across the board salary reduction, plus a change in position within the company which further reduced pay, all in 1 day. All they have to really do is look at the present day situation, I'm sure in your case, too.

That's what they should do, I agree.

But do they actually do it that way?

        Thanks!
