Means Test and Qualifying for 7
I am hoping that even though I qualify for the 7 because I will be under the mean for past 6 months, that the UST won't move in for dismissal due to many things in my favor even though my income will double after I file, the means test after I plug in the expenses allowed show me having negative monthly disposable income to fund a CH 13. My cobra ins is over a thousand a month alone! I believe I filed in good faith, no attempt at fraud here, just a lot of unsecured debt over the years (325,000), and the fact that I will never again be earning what I was prior to losing my 2 jobs 2 months ago. Also does anyone have any knowledge as to how regular contributions to monthly household expenses is looked at? In other words, can I get help from a family member sporadically to pay for food, gas, dog food, vet etc during this 6 month time frame? Is even this considered income? What about a cash birthday gift from a freind or relative ? Is this also income! Thank you all for your help!
