you can probably do a search on an attorney's name, though i never tried. however, if the attorney does a lot of cases, your search could result in a huge bill with no warning unless you limit it somehow (say by date).
check if pacer has instructions.filed ch7 May 09

Your best option is to go the the web page for the bankruptcy court that you will be filing in. There you can check the calendar for 341 hearings and it will tell you the attorney and the case number. This gives you an idea of how busy (experienced?) your particular attorney is. Then you can go to PACER and look up the case.
You'll get charged for downloading the case from PACER, but there is a charge limit of 30 pages ($2.40) for the voluntary petition but you get all 47 or 54 or however many there are.
I checked this to see what others in my district had done with exemptions and to see what various attorneys were charging since this is disclosed in the filing. Interesting information there.Case Closed > 2/08/2010
