question about the 6 months for pay

I was working two jobs and had the last pay from march 19. If I file sept 20 They will not look at this income because it is out of the 6 months correct?

if you file in sept they will look back march through august. if you file in october they will look at april through september. that is, the six month period is full calendar months.
