We paid our $300.00 yesterday to start the paperwork. We need to schedule an appointment now to do the next step for a Chapter 7. As for Wells Fargo, we tried a short sale they lost our paperwork so many times and the realtors that we lost the buyer. We were paying on the rental house at that time. Now we do not have a tennant and hubby doesn't have a job. So, we stopped paying in April. We did file for a DIL after the short sale and called WF several times, never got a straight answer from them for a couple months, then a week ago we got a letter from their attorney that they are doing a foreclosure. They did not call us about money once probably because we called them all the time about the short sale, and then the DIL. I feel like they never looked at anything we sent up to them or they would have tried one of those options. I think banks want the house period thinking it will turn around and they will make a profit. Oh, well,.. there is nothing we can do that is for sure. So now, facing a BK and hubby not making a dang thing on a commission selling insurance scam ( I think), today we had to send him to urgent care. We could not get a doctors appontment until Sept or Oct, and called 9 doctors here in MO. So he used urgent care to find out his symptoms are COPD and sinus tachycadia... Great news.. who knows how much this will cost us in his health and mine from the strees, and in money too. I guess it will all go down in the BK, we can not help it if he is sick now too. Geesh.. Bad luck comes in 5's not 3's.

The BEST ADVICE I can give ANYONE.........before you file, go online and change all your phone numbers to dummy ones! I forgot to do my WF one and honestly they called like 20 times a day! It was awful. I finally put my phone on call forward to my cell phone and turned the cell phone off! It was really nerve wracking!

Wells Fargo will freeze your accounts. A friend had his frozen for almost two weeks after filing.

If you use them get your $$$ out before filing.

Ironically, in my case I wish they had frozen my account. It would've saved me the $140 in fees (or maybe not knowing them...) mentioned above.
