How to Dress for Reaffirmation Hearing?

Any suggestions for how to dress for a reaffirmation hearing?

I was planning to dress a bit more formal that 341 given that this is a court proceeding and we will be before a judge.

Wondering if a suit and tie is too much?

A suit and tie is fine. When we went before the judge in a couple of procedures, DH wore grey dress pants, white shirt with tie and a navy blue sports coat. We no longer have a full suit for him so that is what he wore and he looked fine. I wore a solid color dress blouse and black dress slacks.

I wore dress slacks. I haven't worn a dress in years...

Where we live, people dress very casually, so we didn't bother to dress up. DH wore jeans and a sweatshirt and I wore khakis and a top.

Sounds good to me, My hubby will will dress paints, that's not a problem.. me on the other hand, its gotta be jeans lol, and my sneakers

lol. my trustee was a woman and so was her clerk.

There were people at my 341 who were in shorts, but other than that everyone was very casual. I wore capri pants and a nice top.

I would leave the non-essential gold and diamond jewelry at home.

While I think it's ok to dress casual for a 341, for a hearing in front of a judge I would dress up a bit.
