    IRS and State Tax Question

First of all this forum is great! I have received a lot of good advice that is helping me get through my Chap 7. Anyway, I have a no asset chap 7 with IRS and Ca state taxes due from 2000-2002. I have already had my 341 with no issues and my attorney requested I get transcripts, which I have. But my big question is what happens next...does my attorney negotiate with the tax people or is there a hearing? I have a call into my attorney so I can get him the transcripts but I am a little worried he doesn't deal with too many tax cases. Any help would be appreciated.

As long as you met all the criteria needed for getting taxes discharged, all you have to do is wait for the discharge. There is no negotiating if you qualify.

What transcripts? Those years that you filed and owed but never paid?

Thanks Bandit. The transcripts were for the years I didn't pay. My attorney probably just wants verification that I filed returns on time etc.
