So, we hired an attorney today....

And his big question for us was.....

"Why the heck did it take so long for you guys to get here?"

He says he helped MANY of my husbands EE collegues file for bankruptcy here in Colorado in 2002-3 when all the first round of layoffs happened.

He says he cannot believe we fought this so long and that we have been pouring money down a rat hole for years.

    At least he was honest

Why did you wait so many years?

Pride and ignorance. We did not know that it was justified, we refused to believe that it was what was best because we were not that kind of people that would be irresponsible and declare BK....

      All kinds of things.

And mostly just stubborness, we can handle this...testosterone for my DH.

Needachance: I'm also a tech worked in Colorado and have been struggling, but the credit has allowed me to survive during lean times. Now I can't handle the debt load.

I'm wondering if you're happy with your lawyer and if you can give a recommendation?
