We started out as a 13. In a 13 you pay so much up front and the rest is financed into your plan. Well my lawyer was still sending us a bill every month and even when the trustee showed he was paid in full there was a still a bill coming for $193. It's like miscellaneous stuff such as copies, postage, phone calls. Anyway he said our conversion would be $750. So I've paid him $250 and still owe all most $700.
Should I ask him about the $193? I mean since the trustee was showing that he was paid in full shouldn't my balance have been zero before filing our conversion?
Or should I just be glad to be done with it and pay it in full? The problem is we are still struggling and now it's time to start buying school clothes and school supplies again. Our lawyer said we could pay it out but he'd still like it paid as soon as possible.
