    just got back from 341

I am feeling better. He asked the standard questions. He asked about my rental property,if I had tried to sell it and for how much. He asked why we had so much unsecured debt, $65,000. We told him we had our hours reduced at work and living off credit cards. He said no abuse good luck.

    Whew!

He was a truck driver for a lot of years. Then he went into dispatching for 9 years and went back driving a truck in 10/05. He did not like being confined to an office for 8-10-12 hrs a day. But dang, he is always working. He usually gets home around 5 - 8 pm on Friday and is gone on Sun. morning.

He delivered a load in Dallas, TX this morning from Chicago, IL. Spent the night at the place he was delivering. Then went & got loaded in Arlington, TX which is only about 12 - 14 miles from Dallas, but didn't leave until 12:45 pm.

Gets to the mill (Arkansas Kraft) at 7:15 pm and gets unloaded and has a load # for a delivery in Oklahoma tomorrow morning and they haven't even made the stuff yet. I told him, he didn't have patience when he worked in the office, but out in his own Big Truck he has a lot of patience.

Before I was disabled in a car wreck 3/14/05 I was an Accountant. So sometimes it's hard for me to justify all the 'Wait Time' in loading and unloading. If you factor that time into your driving time, truck drivers make less than people who wait on you in restaurants which is $3.60 or a few cents more an hr. plus tips.

I'll get off my soapbox now. Time for pain meds and hit the hay.

                    Luci

Forgot to mention, he laughed when I put down my dog $100 asset..I have a Shiu Tzu. He said that dog isn't worth $100. I said he is to me and everyone laughed. It kind of broke the ice.

Chloe (my beagle) is worth more than my exemptions..... usually anyhow. Last week when she ate 1/2 of my cupcake from whole foods while I answered my phone....she was a liability.
