I was going to list $5.00 & put on there who wants a 6 1/2 yr. old dog who take oh ow it's 3 prescriptions a day and has prescription dog food. But, she does help Dh with his back as he will get in the floor with her & play with her. In his eyes, she can do no wrong. I'm with her 24/7 & Honest to Pete it's like having a toddler living with you. I use a grabber to pick up things as I severe arthritis. So, I start going around picking up her toys & she is going behind me getting them out of her dog box. She wakes me up in the middle of the night sounding like a toddler who cannot talk..they grunt - she does that to me to let her outside to go potty.
I told my hubby one day, that dog meant more to him than I did. He said that's not true and I said it's pretty dang close. He knew he better shut up cause he was a gonna lose that argument.
In some ways, she helps me, but in more ways, she hinders me as there are some mornings it takes me an hour to get out of bed. She is a good dog..will hold it until she goes outside. If it's raining, forget it, she's not going to potty as she doesn't like to get her feet wet. Honest to Pete, My hubby has this dog so Excessively Loved! The 1 mebbe sometimes 2 nights he is home, I always say I want 'Firsties' as in a kiss because I don't want her slobber all over my face LOL!
