My 341 is in a few weeks and according to my lawyer, there will need to be a couple of things corrected on the record. One of them is my bank account, which was closed by the bank literally two days before filing. The other is that I made a little bit of money from selling personal items over the past couple of years, such as books and DVDs. Has anyone else on the board had to correct anything on the record at their 341? Is this pretty typical? My lawyer didn't think the bank account nor the personal property sales would raise the trustee's eyebrow, but I'm incredibly anxious about this.

Usually there will be some adjustments made to the schedules. Some trustees are sticklers for details and others are not. There were some errors in our paperwork that even the attorney said "we should probably amend those, but the trustee really isn't that interested." We had a GREAT trustee.
If you do amend, it is a one time filing fee of $26.00, whether you amend one item or one hundred.
Check with your attorney and BK district about the filing fee. I know that with the coming of July 1, 2009 and a new fiscal year, some court filing fees have changed. These may only apply to state courts.
Good luck!"To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."

I know people seem to get nervous about the 341 hearing. But I've spend since late last Sept. working on our Bankruptcy matching receipts to bank statement, totaling cash receipts to match an ATM withdrawal. Printing info on all household furnishing valuations. And we are not filing until 9/30/09!
So, I feel like if I can get through all this paperwork and it be Correct! I've got nothing to worry about at the 341 hearing. And I've never stepped foot in a courthouse LOL! I've never received a speeding or no parking ticket.
Dh has no clue what's going on. He is a long haul truck driver. He's already said if the Trustee ask him something about our finances, he is going to be honest and say, Sir 'I spend One Day a week at home. I buy the groceries, as my wife is disabled, I go to the pharmacy, yadda yadda, I withdraw $100 a week for expenses and I bring home my receipts. That's all I know. You will have to ask my wife any questions concerning our finances.' ROFLOL!
I cannot drink because of my meds, but when I could, a glass of wine would relax me or maybe a long hot bath with scented candles & buy the generic sleep aid tablets or maybe a antihistamine (I've heard they help some people sleep) or a warm glass of milk. It is very important for you to get your sleep the night before so you will be Bright Eyed for 341.
I'll bet you will do just fine. But sending some good vibes your way to help you.
