Who has actually had a car repoed while doing a reide through

Seems like this has been coming up alot - as I am in the same boat and have the same question.

It seems like after the new bk laws came out Ford and Chrysler where not letting ride throughs happen. I remember reading an article, (if I can find it again I will post it) that said Chrylser lost a ton of money repoing cars just to make a point.

I can't seem to find anyone who in that past year has had a car repoed while doing a ride through.

Any stories of anyone who HAS had the car taken away. My lawyer said in the past 15 years of doing this he has never seen a car taken away -even after the news laws where in place.

If you're making payments, it's unlikely that the lender will repo. They are in the business of making, by collecting your monthly payments, and not in the business of selling cars. And the same goes for homes IIB and riding through.

I myself have never heard of an auto repo while riding through. I suppose it could happen though.
