    non-reaffirm a bad deal for a bank?

Just talked to the bank I can keep my van without reaffirming as long as t'm
current. Great deal for me, bad deal for them I think. Once the van is worn out they get it back. Just does not seem right, but they make the rules.

I'm trying to do the same thing with my Jeep. I don't want to reaffirm and be stuck with it. It does seem crazy doesn't it? I'm not even calling my auto lender. They have yet to contact me or my lawyer so I'm hoping to lie low until my discharge comes.
4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!

Did you get that in writing from them? Just curious.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

Not in writing but the L.A spoke to them so it with me. Plus I don't plan on keeping it for much over a year.
