my new bookmark
so the other day i go check my mail. one envelope has half of it a bit stiff, feels just like a credit card. i open it and indeed, one of my cc which has not gotten wind of my bk yet sent me my fifth (yes, fifth) copy of my card, reminding me to please, please use it already (it's never been used) and offering 1.9% on all purchases provided i use it already. LOL!
so then i was sitting around reading a book and the only thing i had for a bookmark was the library slip, which is kind of ugly. so i looked around, thinking how annoying that i can't afford a bookmark.
then the cc was sitting there, looking at me, with nice attractive colors. but no! i did not use it to buy a bookmark.
it IS the bookmark.
if anybody ever told me i'd use a cc as a bookmark and be extremely happy about it, i'd never believe them
