Just as an on topic update I have a meeting with my soon to be new attorney tomorrow at 10.

Still watching the usps tracking to see that my certified letter was delivered to the old one.

So it looks like I'm headed in a positive direction.

To answer the question can I get my money back?
Maybe, but I'll most likely have to give it to the trustee at this point.

My lawyer called me today for more info, while I was at the office he said the trustee might actually go after that lawyer for the money (and keep it for himself of course)

I sent in my hand written complaint to the Florida Bar.
During one of my calls to them I did give them an address, but I wasn't expecting to receive the forms to fill out.
Just trying to get my money back so the trustee can take it yay

yay... do continue to keep us posted! i am very curious about how this will turn out.

i am guessing that the florida bar will take longer to deal with is than your bk - you could be well into discharge by then, the trustee may very well have abandoned this claim of yours, and you might just get to keep the money. who knows!?!
