    I agree with you 100%!!!

A friend of mine keeps telling me that the bank deserves to get burned on that BMW for being so stupid to give me the loan.

I did, however, put $3,000 down. That's money now pissed away. That's why I have to keep driving this car for at least 4 months more to get my money's worth. HOOO HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Are you down with it, G Money?

One post you say cigarettes & alcohol, both LEGAL!, millions die from them. But 2nd hand smoke kills both the smoker and the people around him.

In another post, you wish you were allowed to smoke pot and do LSD? How absurd! Smoking pot is also 2nd Hand Smoke..Both Are ILLEGAL! And Both WILL KILL YOU!

My Gawd, what alien space ship did you fall out of??

I'm sure you spend money a lot differently than I do. All of my friends who have 6-figure incomes do so.

Okay, not friends. Let's just call them people I know, or acquaintances.

Are you down with that, homie? Does that float your boat?

Amy, I think some people may have redeemed themselves, personally, in this thread.

Wait, or did I mean reveal?

Why is bankruptcy on my mind every day? Why am I so excited about getting this process done?

No it's not fun. For more its stressful and downright the most difficult period in their lives. I think you're trying to take it with a little humor, and that's just fine by me.

It's because you're bi-polar. You go through periods of depression and periods of manic. This week you appear to be manic.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

Maybe because you did it Pro Se, but I am paying a lawyer, so not too much paperwork to fill out. It was so simple. All I did was meet the guy for 20 minutes. He gave me a print out showing everything I needed to bring. I went home and printed off the last 3 years tax returns, 6 months of bank statements and then I gave them a list of nearly 70 creditors & collection agency's name, address, phone # and my account # associated with them.

They also wanted our passports, but we didn't have them with us at the time. While I was there, I dropped a check for 25 Benjamins. They told me that I would only have to go to court and answer like 4 questions.

What is so stressful about what I just said? Printing the tax returns was easy. No stress there. Logging into the bank and downloading the PDF's of our statements to print out... no stress there. (There would be stress if the paper jammed. This this it didn't, otherwise I would be cursing in various languages.)

This upcoming bankruptcy is a MEANS to an END. If I had to pay $5,000/mo., I would want to jump off of a bridge. There's no way I could afford to pay that. If I was too chicken to jump off the bridge, I would try to leave the country and never come back. Honestly. I got my passport and all, so I am good to go. Let those creditors find me in Costa Rica, Argentina or Brazil. Tell them to go pound sand for me, will ya?

Once I leave the country, I would post all of my creditors and CA's with their phone #'s and my account #'s so some people on here could have fun calling them on my behalf. I would leave all of my personal info so you guys could have a field day with them. I would log into this forum from Internet Cafe's overseas so I could enjoy. I would try to call some of them and let them know where I was living and then say (using a Duke Nuke' em voice), "Come Get Some!"

What OTC stuff can I take to deal with this?

Actually, it's not at all stressful for me, personally. I love being in charge and controlling things anyhow (Type A). I like the challenge and actually welcome any challenges that come in front of me. I like the research, I like to argue, I like proving my point.

How exactly did this turn into a conversation about the inner workingings of DebtMonster's brain and his bankruptcy mantra?
