Wow, discharged! The real battle continues...

A sense of relief and planning to turn our lives around feeling came to play today after receiving notice that we were discharged July 1.

Stressful, but not as painful as I had envisioned before contemplating the idea of filing for bk. None of this would have been if cancer hadn't hit my family, my wife... debts are gone. Now we focus on the cancer.....

Thank God for this positive development....

Congratulations! My story is the same, only it's Alzheimer's disease (my mother). We never know how much insurance doesn't cover until one of these catastrophic illnesses appear, do we?

          CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DISCHARGE!

I'm fighting the ugly C word myself. Yes, would be a lot easier if your mailbox everday wasn't filled with medical bills and/or medical collectors.

Will gladly keep your wife and family in my Prayers!

Dear Newbeginning: I so hate to hear of your wife's cancer. You both will be in 'Hub's and my prayers.

It almost seems a little crass, but under the circumstances--and I dealt with an Alzheimer's mother too--every little thing that brings a smile, or a good belly laugh a day is healing.

SOOOOOOOOOooooooooo here is your CELEBRATORY VICTORY DANCE:

"To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."

"Worry is the darkroom where negatives are formed."

Wow! DW got here before me. To the OP, Grats, and we too have a bit of the big "C" in our lives. ME!.

Now: to Kenshirley, when the heck you gonna get outa here (not out of the forum only the bk)? I've had six sets of rodents pass away of old age and over work, and it sure is hard to train them. I had to drink a six pack a day just to mimic the first hamster's belly. Now get on with it before the new group dies off. 'Hub

And I thought that hamster dance went on forever.
At least in our minds anyway.
At someones suggestion after not getting much of an answer from my attorney at 66 days I called the court clerk.
He said they are busy but generally 7-10 days past the no file date which according to him was 6/23. He further stated that my case should post as discharged this week sometime.
I will believe it when I see it on PACER needless to say.

Thank you all! This forum has been a bastion of some solace for me during these past years helping my wife fight/battle and keep my very young children's lives as normal as possible. But my role in this is what it is and i would not wish it on anyone else nor would i trade it with anyone else.

The good Lord has revealed much during these past two years. What family you can count on, what you can't and continue not to be able to... who your friends are, what genuine loving community looks like, etc.

Thank you all and God bless all of you!
