So after asking my attorney to wait before filing, I have signed everything and should be filed today.

I suppose I should feel some relief, but I still have some anxiety about the process. I'm sure he's just being cautious and preparing me for the worst, but he said that since I'm "just" under the median by about $1900, I may still be scrutinized by the UST. He said I could be asked to supply additional documentation that I am only paid once a month, that my wife does not, in fact, work outside the home (how do you document that?), etc.

Either way, at least this hurdle is out of the way...

...and awaaaaaaay we go!

I wouldn't stress about the "process", what is going to happen, will happen...

I am over the median by 21k, I was worried that the UST would looking into my case because my unsecured debt was ove 100k...nothing yet.

Save some of the "stress" for the 341 (j/k )

I had to sign an affidavit that I don't work outside the home. Dh also had to sign an affidavit that his overtime has been cut.

We were below the median by about $2K but we were negative in the means test and the I and J.

We did get extra scrutiny from the UST but it was actually b/c my lawyer filed the I and J with the wrong numbers. It showed we were practically rolling in dough and just not wanting to pay our bills. I wish.
